2) Data collection when visiting our website
If you use our website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called “server log files”). 4) Contacting us
Personal data is collected when you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email). Which data is collected when using a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for the processing of this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request. This is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.


5) Online appointment scheduling
Dedicated function for making appointments online
We process your personal data as part of the online appointment scheduling function provided. You can see which data we collect for online appointments from the respective input form or the appointment request for making an appointment. If certain data is necessary in order to be able to make an online appointment, we will indicate this accordingly in the input form or in the appointment request. If we provide you with a free text field on the input form, you can describe your request in more detail there. You can then also decide for yourself which additional data you would like to enter. The data you provide will be stored and used exclusively for the purpose of making an appointment. When processing personal data that is required to fulfill a contract with you (this also applies to processing operations that are required to carry out pre-contractual measures), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. If you have given us your consent to process your data, the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to the controller named at the beginning of this statement.


6) Data processing when opening a customer account and for contract processing
In accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, personal data will continue to be collected and processed if you provide it to us for the execution of a contract or when opening a customer account. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. Deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done by sending a message to the above-mentioned address of the controller. We store and use the data provided by you to process the contract. After completion of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be blocked with regard to tax and commercial retention periods and deleted after these periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the right to further use of your data as permitted by law.


7) Comment function
As part of the comment function on this website, in addition to your comment, information about the time the comment was created and the commentator name you have chosen will be saved and published on this website. Your IP address is also logged and stored. The IP address is stored for security reasons and in the event that the person concerned violates the rights of third parties or posts illegal content by posting a comment. We need your e-mail address in order to contact you if a third party objects to your published content as unlawful. The legal basis for the storage of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR. We reserve the right to delete comments if they are objected to as unlawful by third parties.


8) Use of customer data for direct advertising
8.1 Registration for our email newsletter

If you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. The provision of further data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. This means that we will only send you an e-mail newsletter if you have expressly confirmed to us that you consent to receiving the newsletter. We will then send you a confirmation e-mail asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter in future by clicking on a corresponding link.


By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. When you register for the newsletter, we store your IP address entered by the Internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later date. The data collected by us when you register for the newsletter will be used exclusively for the purpose of advertising by means of the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a message to the controller named at the beginning. Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter mailing list immediately, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.


8.2 Sending the e-mail newsletter to existing customers


If you have provided us with your e-mail address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar goods or services to those already purchased from our range by e-mail. In accordance with Section 7 (3) UWG, we do not need to obtain separate consent from you for this. In this respect, data processing is carried out solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If you have initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you any emails. You are entitled to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by sending a message to the controller named at the beginning. You will only incur transmission costs for this in accordance with the basic rates. Upon receipt of your objection, the use of your e-mail address for advertising purposes will be discontinued immediately.


8.3 Newsletter dispatch via Sendinblue


Our email newsletters are sent via the technical service provider Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, to whom we pass on the data you provided when registering for the newsletter. This transfer takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and serves our legitimate interest in using an effective, secure and user-friendly newsletter system. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address) is stored on Sendinblue’s servers in the EU.


Sendinblue uses this information to send and statistically analyze the newsletter on our behalf. For evaluation purposes, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel image files that are stored on our website. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). The data is collected exclusively in pseudonymized form and is not linked to your other personal data; direct personal reference is excluded. This data is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients. If you wish to object to the data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Furthermore, Sendinblue may use this data itself in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of its own legitimate interest in the needs-based design and optimization of the service as well as for market research purposes, for example to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, Sendinblue does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass them on to third parties.

We have concluded an order processing agreement with Sendinblue in which we oblige Sendinblue to protect our customers’ data and not to pass it on to third parties.

8.4 Advertising by letter post

On the basis of our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising, we reserve the right to store your first and last name, your postal address and – insofar as we have received this additional information from you as part of the contractual relationship – your title, academic degree, year of birth and your professional, industry or business name in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and to use them to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post.

You can object to the storage and use of your data for this purpose at any time by sending a corresponding message to the controller.

8.5 Notification of product availability by email

If we offer the option in our online store of informing you by e-mail about the time of availability for selected items that are temporarily unavailable, you can register for our e-mail notification service for product availability. If you register for our e-mail notification service for product availability, we will send you a one-off e-mail message about the availability of the item you have selected. Only your e-mail address is required for sending this notification. The provision of further data is voluntary and may be used to address you personally. The data collected by us when you register for our e-mail notification service regarding the availability of goods is used exclusively for the purpose of informing you about the availability of a specific item in our online store. You can unsubscribe from the e-mail notification service for the availability of goods at any time by sending a message to the person responsible named at the beginning. Once you have unsubscribed, your e-mail address will be deleted immediately from our mailing list set up for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

9) Data processing for order processing

9.1 – Transmission of image files for order processing via upload function
On our website, we offer customers the opportunity to order the personalization of products by submitting image files via an upload function. The submitted image motif is used as a template for the personalization of the selected product.
Using the upload form on the website, the customer can send us one or more image files from the memory of the end device used directly via automated, encrypted data transmission. We then record, store and use the transmitted files exclusively for the production of the personalized product in accordance with the respective service description on our website. If the transmitted image files are passed on to special service providers for the production and processing of the order, you will be explicitly informed of this in the following paragraphs. No further forwarding will take place. If the transmitted files or the digital motifs contain personal data (in particular images of identifiable persons), all the processing operations just mentioned are carried out exclusively for the purpose of processing your online order in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. After final processing of the order, the transmitted image files are automatically and completely deleted.
– Transmission of image files for order processing by e-mail
On our website, we offer customers the opportunity to order the personalization of products by sending image files by e-mail. The submitted image motif is used as a template for the personalization of the selected product.
The customer can send us one or more image files from the memory of the end device used via the email address provided on the website. We then record, store and use the files transmitted in this way exclusively for the production of the personalized product in accordance with the respective service description on our website. 9.2 In order to process your order, we work together with the following service provider(s), who support us in whole or in part in the execution of concluded contracts. Certain personal data is transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the following information.

The personal data collected by us will be passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery as part of the contract processing, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. We pass on your payment data to the commissioned credit institution within the scope of payment processing, insofar as this is necessary for payment processing. If payment service providers are used, we will inform you of this explicitly below. The legal basis for the transfer of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

9.3 We work with external shipping partners to fulfill our contractual obligations to our customers. We pass on your name and your delivery address and, if necessary for delivery, your telephone number to a shipping partner selected by us exclusively for the purpose of delivering goods in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

9.4 Use of payment service providers (payment services)

 

– Apple Pay
If you choose the “Apple Pay” payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment will be processed via the “Apple Pay” function on your device running iOS, watchOS or macOS by debiting a payment card stored with “Apple Pay”. Apple Pay uses security functions that are integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you must therefore enter a code that you have previously specified and verify it using the “Face ID” or “Touch ID” function on your device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, will be forwarded to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to process the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the source website to confirm the success of the payment.

If personal data is processed during the described transfers, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Apple stores anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymization completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve “Apple Pay” and other Apple products and services.
If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase that you have made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate via an encrypted channel on the Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can be used to identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to “Wallet & Apple Pay” and deactivate “Allow payments on Mac”.

– Google Pay

If you choose the “Google Pay” payment method from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”), payment will be processed via the “Google Pay” application on your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 (“KitKat”) and equipped with an NFC function by charging a payment card stored with Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To approve a payment via Google Pay of more than €25, your mobile device must first be unlocked using the verification measure set up in each case (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern).
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, will be passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the source website in the form of a unique transaction number, which is used to verify that a payment has been made. This transaction number does not contain any information about the real payment data of your means of payment stored with Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a uniquely valid numerical token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google only acts as an intermediary for processing the payment process. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the source website by debiting the payment method stored with Google Pay.
If personal data is processed during the described transfers, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Google reserves the right to collect, store and evaluate certain transaction-specific information for each transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the goods or services purchased provided by the merchant, photos that you have attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or the sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction and, if applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.
According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, the verification of transaction data and the optimization and functional maintenance of the Google Pay service.
Google also reserves the right to merge the processed transaction data with other information that is collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.
